Seminar Governance, Security and Military Institutions in Democracies The second international Seminar organized by PDGS brought together many academicians, public officials and journalists who analyzed the impact of civil-military relations on democratic governance.

PDGS meeting - 2000 During its second year of existence, the Partnership for Democratic Governance and Security --PDGS-- has ratified its resolution to serve as a non governmental initiative for the purpose of strengthening emerging democracies in their effort to secure the control of the Armed Forces by political powers. It was within this framework that the annual meeting of the partners took place in Buenos Aires.
